cooler master rgb fans not bright

Hi 

 

hope someone can help with this,

i got my cooler master master fan pro rgb delivered today, i have installed them to the pc and connected it to the RGB headers on the mobo, but the issue is that the RGB function seems to be directly related to the fan RPM, at low RPM there is a very faint red showing and no other colours, but at high to max there i can control the full spectrum,. 

is there a way to get full controll at all speeds.

 

the motherboard is the asus strix z270e and in running it though aura software
