Hello!

Couple days ago this problem started. From then on, my Thinkpad X250 wakes it self up from sleep mode. For instance, when i put the PC to sleep via start menu, it goes to sleep for 2, max 3 seconds and wakes it self up to prompt the login screen.

It started to happen about 3 days ago, when I was asleep and around 5am my Thinkpad started to beep, (before going to sleep, i closed the lid and placed it on the table) so I checked the laptop and the bios screen was showing something about low battery and that i should charge it. Since it was in the middle of the night, I didn't bother to get the charger and closed the lid once again. About 5 minutes later, the same thing happenned, still not bothered to get the charger, I hard shutdown the laptop from the power button. In the morning, when I woke up, I found out that the PC had booted itself and was running the rest of the time, with 1% battery remaining.

This is getting really irritating, because whenever I unplug my charged laptop in the evening before going to sleep, I always find it with 40-55% battery remaining in the morning and the underside of the laptop really hot.

A youtube video, showing the problem.

Any recommendations?

Sincerely,

Karl
