Probably, but could also mean sales have dropped and the demand simply isn't there. Wouldn't be surprised to see a new iPad Mini Retina or something out this year.

As much as I hate Apple many sources have said that the iPad mini was a success so I don't think it was because of low demand. And I also think the new one will have retina, basically what I think they will be doing every year is taking a 2 year old iPad and putting it in a smaller form factor (the iPad mini is the same as the iPad 2, just smaller).

Just what the world needs another i product. Im sure it will get bought up. I had the iphone 4 and then got the 5 just because it was the new iphone out. There was nothing wrong with the 4.
