Hey guys i posted long ago some really annoying issues i was having with my Powercolor RX 480 Devil i purchased last year in what it suddenly crashed into a black screen forcing a hard reset, so.. even the core was on normal temps (65-75c) with the fans forced to 65% the issue somewhat halted but it still continued on some games this is when i figured that it was linked with an overheating problem...

so needless to say i removed that backplate that seemed to trap the heat, i been gaming all day even on the OC profile @ 1330mhz (it used to crash very fast on this profile) with no issues whatsoever.. so i guess if youre having problems like me with this specific model try removing the backplate (you'll need to remove the cooler first)

any other ideas that could be causing this black screen? i cant RMA the card anymore (it was only the first month it was purchased)
