Hi All,

I've bought a GTX 1070 about a year ago. In recent weeks whenever I launch a 3D game the GPU crashes and does not restore itself. I have to reboot the PC. After rebooting if I don't resintall the GPU driver, it does it again. I checked the temperatures, signs of dust- it's all good. I thought it had to do something with my windows so I reinstalled hoping it would fix, it didn't. The card is not overclocked- once I start a game it works no problem for hours and doesn't crash. It's just when starting games it does this. It's a FE version. I'd appreciate any suggestions...

Thanks

Try this, reconnect the PSU cables, if u can try diferent PSU cables (very unlikely). Try reconecting the GPU to the MOBO. After that just warranty claim maybe?

are u able to test it in another rig?

Not really. It seems most likely a driver issue because after re-installing it works just fine.
