Serial vs Parallel for Vertical GPUs

Go to solution Solved by Mick Naughty,

Parallel is fine. Nothing should be forming or blocking anything. If it does it isn't just gonna do one block that's for sure. Zero hit on temps. I always run parallel block or a straight up parallel loop. Have series block but like I said it never mattered. I don't put crap in my blocks to clog them.

So I just started on my first custom water loop. I ran into a snag, I'm using a vertical GPU bracket that allows 2 GPUs to be fitted on it. I didn't realize until now that there is not enough space to put the fittings to connect both EKWB GPU blocks. So after some research I apparently need an EK-fc dual terminal to connect both.

From what I researched there is not much difference between serial and dual on performance. So I was just going to use parallel since it looks better. But does that still apply if you are mounting the blocks vertically? Does it matter if its serial or parallel when its mounted vertically?

You won't lose any performance

It might be harder to bleed the air out of the system when you first fill it up

you might want to do them in paralel *************(seres i am bumb)******* becasue if one block becomes higer riistance than the other than water wont flow to that card adn it will overheat

Singularity PC did a build log regarding this. His build did show a loss of pressure by the time the CPU was reached, but it didn't affect cooling, just took a really long time to bleed.

:/ didn't realize that could happen I will definitely do parallel then.

fuck not paralel seres you want only one path otherwise if one becomes slightly blocked than one block will get alot less or no flow
