Needing display recommendations

Hi there,

I'm currently looking at getting a 1440p monitor for high-ish end gaming and multimedia work. I currently own a 1080ti alongside a 6800k. The current monitor I'm looking at is the ASUS PG279Q. Budget wise, the more I can save, the better, but I'm willing to eventually put down about ~$700-800 USD for a monitor once I have the money.

 

I'm looking for a monitor that includes:

  • GSync
  • IPS
  • High sRGB %
  • Very low response time
  • High refresh rate (144hz or higher)

Obviously this monitor has the following listed, but the price tag is a bit much for me at the moment. Are there any good alternatives to this monitor? Would I be better off not dealing with 1440p and downgrading to 1080p to save some money? I would consider 4K, but with the specs that I want, I don't think there would be many, if any monitors available and for a decent price.
