i7 5930k

i have just orderd a second hand / i7-5930K / 8GB 
500GB+250GB HDD / GTX670 2GB 
BLU / Windows 10 
it was £500 and i think this was good price for that cpu and a motherboard
what would a good gpu upgrade be as i think the gpu lets it down 
the pc will be used for editing and gaming as im studying media in uni 

so what upgrades would u suggest

Yeah get a better GPU and Ram and maybe get an ssd if it doesn't already have one.

budgets about 200 -300 pounds was think 970 and ssd but if u think ram would help more

For games, no, the 970 would be a better upgrade that more ram.  A 1050ti if you can't fine a 970.
