EnderCat

Ok so I am receiving my arm for my mic and I have been looking at some videos and I think my blue snowball has a part I havn't seen on others as shown in the picture and I think that might not work with my stand

Hey dude, I literally tied the tripod stand to the arm with some twine until I found out that my arm came out with that "connection". :

Specifically a 3/8 x 5/8 connector.

My problem was that the part to screw the mic to the stand was not the same size.

You problem may be different but hopefully you can refer to this video: And skip to 1:20 if you don't want to see the whole vid

Removed attatched image of "twine tripod" because It took too much space.

Can you send a pic? I'm not sure exactly what you mean.

I didn't use any parts included tripod at all when I connected it to my arm.

Then again, I'm still not sure if the problem is the same.

I've seen the pic you've included too...

Find a way to remove it. It looks like a tripod broke off in your mic.

I also want to clear this up now so I don't waste your time.

Did you buy an different arm/stand for use with your mic that you're trying to connect it to? I'm guessing I might've been wrong...

If you bought a bluesnowball mic it is supposed to come with the entirety below:

That looks like a broken stand. Get some pliers and try once more. It is stuck in the tripod threads, so it's pretty safe to assume you can remove it.
