Figured I would try to overclock my cpu... finally.. since its holidays from uni and im bored. i put it to 4.4ghz and changed the vCore to 1.285V

MB: gigabyte z68-ud3r-b3

Cooler: Hyper 212 push pull

I only changed the vCore and the boost clock to 44x, left the core clock at 33x

im currently getting idle temps at around 32-36 (its pretty cold here at the moment (might-night) about 20 degrees Celsius.) i'm assuming it will raise about 4 degrees during the day.

i ran the intel burn test 10 times (just default settings) and i was getting an average max temp of 65 degrees Celsius. It didn't crap out on me at all.. which is good i guess.

I have absolutely no idea about the GFlops that it states on the intelburntest application.. an average of about 106.103 with an average time of 8.32 seconds

If anybody has any experience in dealing with a similar overclock, please let me know if these temperatures and results are ok/good. I will run the prim 95 test through the night and stop it when i wake up in the morning.... hopefully it won't crap out on me

any thoughts on this would be greately appreciated as I have never overclocked before :)

Thanks,

DB
