SSD Free space issue

I just recently bought an Intel 530 180gb ssd. I just noticed something weird that did not make any sense. So according to the properties of my C drive (SSD), It has 87.9gb used and 79.1gb free. But when I go into my C drive and select all folders in it, right click and select properties I see the total space it takes up it's only 49.6gb. Anyone know what's going on?

GAB75D3HM

I3-3220

2x4GB RAM

180gb intel ssd boot/os

3tb gb hd

300 gb hd

xfx 7870

seasonic 550w
