i went with 2 stick so i can run in dual mode but is my motherboard better than the ASROCK one listed or is it about the same!

exactly dual channel has double the bandwith of single channel

quadchannel is not that good, if you want to upgrade the ram later ist is best to sell your kit and get a higher capacity one

it depends on the board, but usually in modern boards unless oyu need the slots for ridonculos amounts of ram i would go with higher capacity sticks in dual channel, thats where it usually is more cost-effective

the board is fine. The reason you dont see any clamp-like stuff that the am4 socket uses a pin-grid-arra and therefore no clamps are needen, the pins are hold in place in the socket itself

As we said before, the choice of the mainboard is not all that important. Ensure compatibility and you are all set

You can't overclock with that board. Get any B350 board they meets all your requirements, and that isn't the MSI B350M Gaming Pro

You can overclock on any B350 and X370 board. Definitely get a higher capacity HDD

just a heads up with that motherboard.

the Tomahawk might come with an older Bios, which will prevent you from posting without a bios update. which would require a ryzen 7 processor to do. from what i understand the arctic version of that board doesnt have the same issue.
