Hello!

I have been working on a computer build for quite some time now, and will very soon be able to build it. I have an issue however, I'm not very well versed in gaming mice, most of my focus has been on researching other hardware, and have run into a stumbling block.

I am currently using a logitech g700 mouse, and I absolutely love the button placement. It has four buttons on the left side, and three buttons on the upper left, near the left mouse button. this lets me off load some of the actions from my thumb onto my pointer finger, and I love it. The mouse feels natural, and I would stick with it, if not for the fact that it is extremely old, and came to me used, as such, many of the buttons are non-functioning, and the others, are a little sluggish/sticky.

My question is this, is there a good, current gaming mouse using the three mouse buttons near the pointer finger design, and includes four or more side buttons? I am looking at the corsair scimitar for the sheer number of buttons for macros, but I like the logitech g700 because I find myself jumping between mobas, fps games, starbound, top down strategy games, and esports games, and the logitech, while not exceptional at any, is good/ or great at all, and also runs comfortably for use as a desktop computer mouse. The extra buttons being out of the way just feel better, and I like being able to seperate the 'if I hit this button I will waste some extremely important cooldown' buttons from the 'if I hit this button I will crouch slightly for a quarter of a second' buttons. Another advantage is the fact that I don't have to pay as much attention to the mouse, since the buttons are actuated with different fingers, and don't require a huge amount of muscle memory.

another small, though nearly insignificant difference is the connectivity. the logitech g700 is both wireless and wired (I did not recieve the wireless dongle for the mouse, and am quite sad about that.).

In short, I am highly considering buying a second logitech g700, though I would prefer an updated design, or, if there is some major shortcoming to the logitech, a corsair scimitar, though I believe I would be unhappy with it. If there is any guidance I can get on where to find a similarly laid out mouse, I would much appreciate it.
