Anyone,

I'm getting this error after installing a new power supply, my other PSU had started to overheat and shut off my computer randomly.

When I installed the new power supply I noticed the fans of the case wouldn't turn on, and neither my HDD or disk drive show up on my BIOS anymore.

I've tried using another HDD and tried returning back to the other power supply, but it's not being detected. I have reset the CMOS battery and tried using different SATA cables and other ports. I just continuously get this message on boot up

"The current BIOS setting do not fully support the boot device.
Click OK to enter the BIOS Setup.

Go to Advanced > Boot > CSM Parameters, and adjust the CSM (Compatibility Support Module)
settings to enable the boot device."
MOBO:
Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0

Seems a little bit like power delivery issue.. Have You checked if all of the cables from new PSU are connected properly? All the required lines are connected?

By saying "new PSU" do You mean it's brand new or is it second hand "new" ?

It's a brand new power supply and I've checked multiple times with different cables. I'm thinking it may be a fault in the motherboard, but not too sure. Because I tried using the other power supply that had started to smell like burning plastic to see if maybe it was the new power supply and it had the same issues.

Sure have, I'm going to get another MB because even my case fan and disk drive aren't working. Unfortunately my current motherboards warranty went out last month lol
