western digital Recertified Hard Disk Drive

My new wd 1tb cavier blue got locked and chkdsk showed errors in that so I requested for replacement and so they sent me recertified Hard disk, so Will that work perfectly or should I buy new one

This is common practice. The replacement drive should be covered for the remainder of your original warranty. The refurb should be fine. If your concerned buy another drive and sell the refurb to offset the cost of a new one.
