Unremovable Desktop Icon?

Hey, i found a weird problem on my desktop. The icon ''home network group'' (i don't know the exact name im sorry. I come from germany) seems to be unremovable. I tried to delete it with Right-Click and per drag and drop into the trash can.

I cannot find any support e-mail from microsoft and the live-chat doesn't work for some reason. And im not going to pay 20cent for a phone call just because a god damn icon is unremovable.

It's somewhere in Control Panel, if I am not mistaken, as it is a system icon and there's a separate settings page for managing desktop system icons.

What Windows are you using exactly?

Oh im sorry. Windows 10 Creators Update.

What ?!.. okay.. now it's gone.... i have no idea why but it is.

It's not in the trash can or somewhere else.

 

It seems like it's showing up for an hour after i started my PC. 

 

But still, why is it even showing up and going away.

@Icefly, have you right clicked it and clicked on properties then click on the Details tab to see who is the owner? 

 

Have you tried selecting the icon then depressing shift and and then pressing delete?....this should permanently get rid of it unless you do not have permissions. Now be warned, make sure you only select the icon in question because if you have other icons selected and press shift and delete you will not be able to get it back from the trash bin.

Check here see if the box is checked for network also if it is disappearing did you turn off a system that was part of said network?

 

 

Select Start button > Settings > Personalization > Themes > upper right corner Desktop icon settings
