now i have to choose between i5 7500 & 1500X  (the only 2 available to my budget)

I5 7500 = 203$
B250M = 114$
DDR4 2400mhz = 66.5$

Ryzen 1500X = 211$
Asus PRIME B350-PLUS= 127.5$
DDR4 2400mhz = 66.5$ / 3000mhz = 80.5$

note that im building it for a pure gaming.
do i really need 3000mhz ram for that ryzen cpu ? or 2400mhz just fine?

hope you help me to choose which one should i pick.

P.S: im going to play on 1080p 60hz monitor + 1060 6GB GPU

Yes, but it clearly states in his post that he only has 2 available options within his budget.

if you have to go only with one of these 2 I'll go with i5-7500 .

the 2 CPUs are rather close in performance to each other and for you stated you're going to building it for a pure gaming ...

well in my op I go with intel when it's just gaming .

you might use a computer for streaming games, video editing, image editing.... The 1500X is likely to do as well or better than the i5-7500.

for the ram 2400mhz is good considering the CPUs you're going with ,not a big noticeable difference between 2400 and 3000 on this scale so go with what you prefer.

so it's your choice
