Can't enable AMD enhanced sync

Go to solution Solved by Zagna,

Do you have RX 400 or RX 500 -series? Enhanced Sync requires Polaris atm.

Hey guys,

I just updated my AMD ReLive drivers to the newest version - 17.2.2 -  in order to enable enhanced sync, as it sounds quite awesome. I followed the instructions on the AMD homepage to enable it, but in the drop-down menu for vertical synchronisation in the global game settings of the AMD software, there is no option for enhanced sync, which is quite odd, as there is this option in the instruction video and I can't find any other option to enable it.

Thanks in advance!

I have the same problem actually. There is no Enhanced Vsync option under  'Wait for Vertical Refresh' tab.  And i m using Asus Strix Rx 480. My OS is Windows 7 tho. It s only supported in Windows 10 or what?

amd ceased to support windows 8 yesterday..so 7 is getting too old to still wasting resources on. The time is right to move to windows 10

Can anybody tell me how it works? Do I turn it on in the Radeon UI and turn vsync off in games or what? I mean, if it is turned on does every game's vsync needs to be turned off. I use Vsync in almost every game, otherwise it looks terrible to my eyes.
