I really hope someone can help. I've had my build for over a year now. I tried to turn it on today and no matter what I do I can't even get it to turn on. I noticed that the ethernet light would still flicker. I noticed that when I plugged it in, there were some flashes within the psu which is why I assume it won't turn on, is this a correct assumption or is there something different that I'm not thinking of. I've checked to make sure the actual power switch is plugged in but I don't think I have one on the motherboard.

Is the switch on the PSU turned to "on" or "off"? Does the flashes look like sparks formed from shorts?

I couldn't tell you whether or not they are from shorts. I tried to do the psu test using the tester provided in the box. I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. I've got everything but the motherboard plugged in and then I plugged the tester into the motherboard pin like the picture showed.
