Hey guys. Wanted to see if someone might be able to help me figure this out. I recently bought a TCL 49S405 TV for me and my wife's new apartment. In the process of testing it, I hooked it up to my PC and found that it worked fine--until I changed the refresh rate to 60hz. I got what you see in the picture and nothing so far has helped (bought new cable/different ports). Any thoughts?

Double check that both the TV and the gpu you are using support HDMI 2.0. Anything older won't have the bandwidth to support 4k@60hz. You could also try Display Port v1.2.

EDIT: I just googled the TV and it does support hdmi 2.0, so just double check that your gpu does as well to rule out bandwidth being an issue.

GTX 1080 GFX card and the hdmi ports on the TV are indeed 2.0. DisplayPort not an option

Have you gone through the options on the TV itself to make sure the hdmi settings are at 2.0? (im not sure if that's a thing with HDMI, but I know my monitor's default setting was DP 1.1 instead of the 1.2 it supported)
