Crosshair hero vi vs crosshair vi extream

So Asus announced a new board but I don't see any differences 

does anyone no which is the better board out of the two and what the differences are ?

Asus' Extreme series is their top board for whatever platform you are looking at.  Always has been.

 

With z270, Asus introduced the integrated CPU + VRM monoblock with temp, flow and leak sensors.  Despite the fact that OC3D's article doesn't show it, the new Crosshair VI Extreme may have the integrated monoblock as well.  

 

The Extreme boards usually have all the bells and whistles.  It's up to you to decide if you want the higher end board.

Will this mean less support for my hero 6 as I got this board for the better support and bioses and assumed it would be there top board

 

or is it basically a hero 6 with a few new things on ?

To be honest, the Crosshair VI Extreme isn't loaded down with features as other platform's Extreme boards.  It does have several more features over your board, but you'll have to make that call.

It also looks like they kept the price low on the Ryzen version of the Extreme possibly due to those lack of features.

No Ryzen's manufacturing process has a hard limit which you are hitting due to no fault of the crosshair. From what I can tell you get wifi, an integrated I/O shield, better sound and beefier heatsinks/shrouds

Just get a wifi card it will be a lot better than a mobo interstated one for sure

I do but if they offered it I would like to move my Asus PCE-AC68 to my 1600x rig I have my daily driver is already hooked up to Ethernet with 650 down / 800+ up it would allow me to relocate my other rig elsewhere in the house
