I believe it's a part of the Nvidia drivers that has to do with Geforce Experience. I think the places that said it's a virus are trying to sell you software to remove it. If you don't use Geforce Exp. just uninstall it. I think Firefox might use it as well, but not positive on that. Defender doesn't like it because it allows a program to access the internet. Like Gf. Exp.

Best Excuses:

        #1(simple) "Well, I never liked that stupid thing anyway!"

        #2(complex) "Obviously there was a flaw in the material, probably due to the inadvertent introduction of contaminants during the manufacturing process."
