Who Uses Hitfilm Express 2017?

I want to learn how to edit videos. I want to learn video editing basics from using hitfilm and eventually move onto premiere or final cut. Any editing tips for hitfilm?

Not a terrible idea to use the 30-day trial of Premiere to learn before upgrading to Adobe CC.
