Anyone know how to fix a card that is performing under it's capped space no matter what the cap is and frame studdering? My car refuses to play at whatever it's capped at and occasionally will also studder my game if that makes sense. I've been having this issue ever since I bought the card and was wondering if this is fixable or if I have a bad card.

I have a Zotac GTX 1050 4gb

What games are you playing and at what resolution?

I mostly play FPS or league of legends, I also play a lot of indie games but none of them seem to play at what I lock it at. Forgot to mention to that it's a
GTX 1050 4gb
AMD Ryzen 1500 X
8gb's of DDR4 so I don't know if that could be the only problem or if maybe the ram or cpu could cause this to.

Are you intentionally capping frame rates at a specific speed?

Yes normally I'll cap at 120 - 60 but it always plays 5-10fps lower then what it's locked at. Then sometimes it will studder causing the game to skip.

Have you tried playing without intentionally capping?

yea but then the FPS is all over the place and then it's more delayed rather then studdering. Which it's smoother then cause of that but then i basically have to predict everything.

What is the refresh rate of your panel and have you tried enabling v-sync instead.
