Neither. ASUS R9-280X DCUII V2. Triple stack cooler, cool, quiet, epic, backplate. No downsides  :)

i like the 280x personally trade blows with the 770 and is cheaper. but if u want shadowplay and stuff then get the 770

If you'll be using for gaming only, then 280x all the way.

 

Me personally would get sapphire vapor x, since it looks cool and cheaper in SEA region.

might go with R9280X-DC2T-3GD5. i find the v2 too big..

OK, but beware it sags a little.

the vapor x here in the Philippines costs around P15000 or $350. i really dont like the blue pcb although its mostly covered by the backplate and it doesnt match with my mobo (z87x- ud4h)

I agree, the dual-slot Asus 280X is just as cool and as quiet but the fact that it's thinner means you can much more easily add a second card for Crossfire.

The Asus 280X DCUII is the best all round choice in my opinion, it's the quietest, one of the coolest & overclocks very well.

It's also voltage unlocked, unlike the XFX models.
