Hello guys,
so i have a asrock H110M-HDV.
the problem is when you turn on the computer it will show sign of power but no display on screen as it was in sleep mode.
also when i tried putting up a gpu card. it will boot succesful,
i tried to reset the bios by removing the cmos battery for couple of minute and then tried it again without a gpu card.
still not working.
so i send the motherboard back to shop (it is still underwarranty)
and i did not say anything about the gpu card thing. i just say it won't boot. then the shop says its a Bent pin on processor slot.

is that possible?

Was this a prebuilt system or did you build it? Also you may be able to bend the pin back if that’s all the problem is and your careful.

i build it. i bought processor, ram, motherboard on that store last november 2017.
i just notice this problem when i tried to remove the gpu and transfer it to my other pc last week.

Unfortunately you won’t get far in that case. You have no way to prove whether it was or wasn’t user induced damage. Have you inspected the cpu socket? Sometimes it’s easier to see a bent pin if you take a photo rather than just looking.

I did not notice any bent pins when i was trying to determine which was the faulty, (before i sent it to store i had to try different processor, ram, even monitor)
i did it because the shop was too far from my home and i had to ship it. also they advice me to only send what hardware is faulty because it will be a wasted effort/money for me.

I doubt that they did this. Their diagnosis sounds correct. A bent pin is the most likely cause for what you were experiencing, especially since it worked with a dedicated graphics card. Have you got the mobo back yet?

Not yet, they said they will help me to RMA it on ASrock but i don't have any news for now.

That's ridiculous. Any damage that you haven't done yourself should be protected under warranty. Take it up with them.

bent pins are usually caused by the consumer. stores near me have started having you visually check the pins and sign off before you take it home due to so many people bending pins then trying to return it

Wow, ok. Still, if the OP is sure it wasn't him, he should take it up with them. Otherwise, he'll have to buy a new one, or deal with the issue. It just doesn't work when there's no GPU, right?

Yes it just doesnt work if no gpu is present.
but still i do not know how did i bent it because before it was working without a gpu, then i installed a gpu.
after another month i remove a gpu then this problem came. idk how it bent without touching

Weird. Either way, if it's not an issue with the GPU in, just keep the GPU in and use it.

Oh, well that's strange. possible that it was bent but just about making contact. Then with heat (expansion/contraction) it displaced just enough to stop working over time. This is all speculation, but possible. But yea, if you can't bend it back, just use your GPU and forget about it.

we'll ya thats the last option i have,
i just send it back because it was still in warranty and I don't know that the issue was bent pins also i do not know that bent pins is not covered by warranty. T_T
anyway i also have other issue with asrock. the same model. the same ram only that it is celeron g3900
(NO GPU) it randomly blackscreen like the issue of the first one but this one randomly occurs when you are already using it. i do not know the exact way to reproduce it but it randomly appears and have to restart the pc to use it again.

The second one is likely a different issue. Swap out the RAM and see if its the same, and if the same occurs. try with only one stick, then swap to the other slot if the same.

It has only 1 stick of ram(Ballistx sport 4gb ddr4) also. the same Date of Purchase to the motherboard
