Touchscreen not working after installing Ubuntu HELP

Hi guys, I need your help.

 

I have a Dell Inspiron 3043 touchscreen all-in-one monitor. It has a pre-installed windows 8 in it and I changed it into Ubuntu 16.04. After doing so, I noticed that the touchscreen function is no longer working.

 

I have spend many hours figuring out how to make it work again, tried installing Touchegg, Touchscreen Calibrator and to no success. Please help me, I really want to use this with an Ubuntu OS.
