HELP ME DECIDE! One plus 5

Go to solution Solved by Zakuul,

The first one, that extra storage and ram for basically dirt cheap, very much worth it.

Yo! im looking at the exclusive offers they do on the site i get 50% off on the accessory. question here is.

Do i get the 8gb ram 128 gb storage version which costs 560e

OR

Do i get 6gb ram 64 gb storage which costs 500e.

Does it have any significant changes with 6gb?
and should i just wait out till the hype dies, lose the chance to get special offers and see other phones?

I'm in need of a new phone quite badly.

560e, b/c you're probably gonna end up loving that extra storage.

Want to know which mobo to get?

Spoiler

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

You're unlikely to actually need or use the additional 2GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, but at the same time to get those features doesn't really cost a whole lot more money (roughly %11 more money for 33% more RAM and double the storage). You should check if it supports SD cards or additional storage cards of some sort, because then you could always just get the 64GB phone and upgrade down the road.

it'll largely depend on what you're going to be using it for. I'm considering getting one for 1080p video recording and maybe trying my hand at a YouTube channel with it, but your needs may be vastly different, so the hardware you require will be different as well. If you're the kind of guy who takes a ton of pictures, downloads a crapton of apps and stuff.... you may need the storage. but there are also plenty of users who will not.

i largely use it as just a normal phone, so AUDIO , CAMERA has to be good and also be a budget phone. I do record quite much family videos with phone, because modern cameras are basically your phone. I heard that it doesn't have a sd card slot

Yeah I'm pretty it doesn't as their previous phones didn't either. they wanna give you a reason to buy that 128GB upgrade haha.

But yeah if you can frequently upload your pictures and footage to another device like your computer or another external drive or something... then you will very probably be fine with your 64GB model. keep in mind that with the 16MP and 20MP cameras picture file sizes, by default, will be a fair bit larger than you're probably used to.

but like both @Zakuul and I have mentioned... its not a whole lot more money to get double the storage capacity, so that in itself may just be worth it if you're worried about it.
