Hello, my fellow desk maniacs and hardware fans!
First of all, let me introduce myself: I'm Elliot, 22yo, Graphic Design student, Game Designer, Gamer and Illustrator.
Recently I've made two custom desks, they're not finished yet, they need to be painted black, glass still needs to be applied and i still need to attach one of them to the wall too.
That's not the point, the point is: one of them is 175cm x 65cm and the other is 150cm x 45cm, they'll be arranged in a L shape, so the surface will be 220cm x 65cm in one side and 85cm x 85cm on the other.

So, Elliot, what does display have to do with that? Well, i'm currently using a dual monitor setup, however i'm using two jurassic monitors! Pics at the end of the post (don't mind the mess, i took them during hard times :p)

Those outdated monitors are tearing away my hopes and dreams, my workflow is heavily hindered by them, it is time for a change!
So i've made my mind: i'm switching to a 21:9 + 16:9 dual monitor setup! The problems are: I live in Brazil and my options are not great, I am still a college student and my budget sucks, i want a good view of both monitors and I'm a f**king color freak, almost any big difference in color balance and contrast feels like a massive eye sore!

Taking that in consideration, the plan was to buy two LG monitors, the 29UM68-P and 23MB35PH-B
Will the experience suck? What if instead of the 23MB35PH-B i buy a cheaper 23MP55HQ-P?

Any tip, suggestion, critique and whatever else will be appreciated!

PS: I was planning to use a monitor stand for both, will most dual monitor stands work or i'll have to find a special one or maybe two individual stands?

Buy 1 34 inch ultrawide

I thought about that, the original plan was to buy a 34UM68, also from LG, however i wasn't able to find a 27' LG monitor and i REALLY need the second one.
I know the 34' would be great by itself, however for work i would rather spend this money on three 23' widescreen monitors than in one single ultrawide, or as i said: one 29' UW and one 23' Wide

Used is not an option thanks to the shady brazillian market. I would not be surprised if i bought something that will blow up in my hand.
3 24' would be as great as the 23' :)
However i was wanting to try out ultrawide since i've heard the extra real estate would help me in Premiere

5 years from now, I plan on graduating both in Graphic Design and Digital Design, then applying to Sheridan for the Game Design course.
In my exp living abroad i've learned not to bring anything from Brazil as it will be either heavily taxed or broken.
I bought my PC mid-late 2016 for BRL 5600, about CAD 2250! 2250 canadian dollars for an I5-6600, GTX 980, 16 gb DDR4 ram, a "almost not shady" 650w 80+ WHITE PSU, 1 TB HDD and an Air 240 for the case. I may be wrong, but i think that i would be better by re-buying my PC in Canada.
