Laptop Optical HDD Caddy Temps?...

Hello everyone,

I'm looking into swapping out the HDD in my laptop, and replace it with an SSD (500gb).

Now, i heard about optical hdd/ssd caddies for laptops, and i was wondering if i would run into any problems, specifically when it comes to temperatures, if i shoved my old HDD in a caddy?...

Not sure how much it matters, but the HDD in question is the "ST750LM000-1EJ16G" drive, laptop is the ASUS N56JN-CN038H.

Currently, my drive doesn't hit much over 50/55 degrees celsius, but as a caddy would completely enclose the thing, i'm wondering if that temperature would go up, or if it could influence the temps on FI my CPU/GPU?

Cheers! :3
