So I have an issue with my USB ports.

I thought my cheap wireless logitech headset was going bad (already was having issues with the power switch), as upon booting the machine, the headset would need to be resynced. I got tired of going through that whole processes, so i would unplug the dongle, turn the headset and PC on, then plug the dongle in once my machine is booted, and it would work.

I picked up a Corsair Void wired headset, and now when I boot, sometimes the mic doesn't work. It'll show it's there and everything, but won't actually work, it just doesn't pick anything up. It'll even make the mute and unmute beep in the headset and the light will turn red when muted. just doesn't pick it up.

Simply as unplugging it and plugging it back in fixes this, but i do have to make sure to restart all the programs (teamspeak/discord and whatever game I'm in) so I have sound through the headset and not the speakers. There really is no way to tell if it is working or not either.

Any idea how to fix this? I'd like to leave it plugged into the rear, but if i gotta keep unplugging it, the front is much easier to get to. Also should note I've tried all my USB ports and its the same, both front and rears.

Should note that the keyboard and mouse work normally, but even moving them around and plugging the headset in one of those ports doesn't solve the issue.

I have windows 10 pro 64 bit with a FX8300, Asus 970 Pro Gaming/Aura board, Sapphire RX 470 4gb, 16gb (4x4) gskill ripjaws x ddr3-1600 ram, corsair h60 cooler, and a rosewill arc M650 psu. running a 120gb kingston SSD and a 1tb barracuda hdd, and a random dell disc drive, in a diypc j180 case. also have a TP-Link PCI wireless card in it
