Looking for laptop

Hi,
I have been looking for laptops as I'll most likely need a new one within the next 2 months (would like to have it earlier though, if possible). Surfed around the interwebs, and have found the Lenovo P51s.
From the configuration option, I would probably need 8gb of ram, the i-7 7500u, and the basic HDD (as I want to add my own NVMe after, as getting a 256gb one is a ripoff - 300$ after savings..) I might also add the IR Camera and the 4k screen, but I am unsure as it does add a big cost.

I was wondering if you had any other suggestions, probably in the same price range. I do not exactly need that GPU (M520), but I most definitely will need to have some kind of GPU.

Also, if you guys have had experience with this laptop, could you tell me what you like about it, don't like, and if you can upgrade what's inside yourself?
