It will be wonky and might not work and is that fabric that the ram is on?

My Build: Xeon 2630L V, RX 560 2gb, 8gb ddr4 1866, EVGA 450BV 

My Laptop #1: i3-5020U, 8gb of DDR3, Intel HD 5500

No matter how you mix them, Windows Home Premium will not recognize over 16 gigs of ram even if the motherboard and the BIOS do.  Windows 7 Pro and Windows 7 Ultimate will recognize up to 192 gigs of ram.  Good Luck.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Would I be able to buy an identical 2x8 gb pair of ram, and achieve 32gb on windows 7 ultimate?

Also, will I be able to pair the 4x4gb crucial ram with another 4x4gb set?

That way, I can have 2 computers with 32gb for win7.
