keyboard not working properly

so I woke up this morning to do my daily activities and discovered that some keys don't type what they probably should e.g. shift 2 gives @ and shift ' gives"

I spoke to a friend and they said it is to do with input language but nor me or him can figure it out, hopefully someone can help, my os is the newest version of windows 10 if that helps any
