Forza keeps crashing

 My friend is  having problems with this Forza horizon three game constantly crashing.  According to him he's had it crash eight times in one sitting so there is some obvious compatibility issues. He has a GTX 1080 ftw 2 with a I-7 700k. What  might be some good suggestions for him?

Make sure all of his drivers are fully up to date. I have a GTX 1080 Ti Extreme from Aorus with a 7700K and I haven't ever had Forza Horizon 3 crash on me. If all of the drivers are up to date and he is running the latest patch of Windows 10, then I would suggest turning down the graphics settings of the game. Maybe also try locking the frame rate. Other than that, I can't really think of anything that could be causing it to crash like that. If it still doesn't work, a last resort could be a fresh install of the game or maybe even a fresh install of the OS. Unfortunately, without knowing more about the system or the monitor that the game is running on, I can't be much more help than that.
