Audio problem with my mic

I'm having a problem with my blue snowball USB microphone when I'm recording only, if I talk to friends through discord or Skype my microphone is clear and working fine. The problem happens when I record my voice through shadow play it comes out with a fuzzy background noise. So I take it shadow play is the problem but I looked and I'm on the lastest update so can anyone recommend a fix ?

discord uses voice detection so it eliminates background noise
