What I have so far - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/LGyl

1. Location - USA, Budget- $700-900 (Lower is better obviously)

2. Purpose - Pure gaming

3. I have 2 monitors for now, plan on upgrading to 3 later on in the future with a GPU upgrade.

4. Peripherals - None required, possibly a mouse if I can fit it into budget well

5. I'm upgrading because I have a PoS 2010 Mac mini and can't play any games even on low settings above 5 fps

I'd appreciate any tips on any parts or if you can find something better.

Also, I will be buying most of the parts from Amazon, as I have $600 in gift cards there, so anything not on there would have to be less than 300 dollars or so. Who doesn't like 2 day shipping anyway from Prime?

Thanks again

Edit: Also in the future I would like to watercool and/or add another GPU.

Given your usage and possible future upgrade path, I'd go for this power supply instead. Same price, notably better quality, higher wattage (which would be ideal if you do add a second card), overall a much better choice.

Otherwise, looks like a solid build overall. Do note that the video card is only available on newegg though, plus it's currently out of stock.

I wouldn't actually agree with what Chrisoi said there. That PSU is fine; it's a Seasonic unit and from memory it works off the same componentry that a few of the Corsair ones do too. Also I know the RAM just fits but I would advise going with the low profile RAM.

Other than that, if you'ev got any spare cash put it toward either the GPU or an SSD. Even a basic Intel 330 60GB SSD will make a tremendous difference to your boot times.

I did change the GPU to http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007PJTNYS/?tag=pcpapi-20, I might go with a 7950 if I can get the money, really depends at this point. I will switch out the PSU as well. Thanks for the tips

Wouldn't touch those OCZ ones. The Antec isn't too bad. Have a look at Silverstone and Seasonic.

I've heard bad things about Seasonic PSU's, do you know if they are good or not?

Seasonic units are amongst the top PSU's on the market..
