so for the past couple of months my pc has been shutting down after a bit of use, straight to black screen, and then going into a seemingly infinite turn on/turn off pattern, I've tried replacing everything except for the ram (I did try only using only 1 stick at a time) and PSU (tested the psu using this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005UZHB6G/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1   PSU is working properly according to my results ) I have tried re installing windows and de-fragmenting my drives, I have tried turning it off and on again, I even tried using my pc in a different room of my house. Using Speccy to monitor temps the cpu idles at 24C and the gpu hovers around 40C. I would appreciate any and all help thank you.

Sorry for iphone camera quality, and the mess.

I'm actually having an issue very similar on a socket 775 board and a q6600, but I think what happened is I burnt out my CPU with too much voltage. I've swapped cards, ram, and two new psus. I can run memtest indefinitely, but trying to boot any OS bootloops me, win7, win 10, Ubuntu live, clonezilla, anything.

Although I would certainly like to see if you find a solution, it may teach me a thing or two. The system is decommissioned now, but its a sentimental build and I'd like to keep it alive.
