Download the latest driver from https://amd.com/ for your specific product.

Download the latest version of DDU from http://www.wagnardsoft.com/.

Start DDU. I suggest selecting the "reboot to safe mode" option.

Uninstall your AMD driver in safe mode with DDU. Use "clean and do not restart" option. If you previously used an nVIDIA GPU or an Intel iGPU, make sure to change the vendor option to clean out all traces of old video drivers. Once done, reboot.

If you are using Windows 10, yank out your ethernet cable to prevent Windows Update from automatically installing an outdated video card driver.

Install the AMD driver you downloaded earlier.

Reboot.

tried that 2 times didn't work either time
