I have a home NAS running on unRaid. When i backup my computer to the NAS it starts off saturating the 1Gbit connection between them. After a little while it drops down to ~350Mbit and stays that way for the rest of the backup. I don't have a cache on the server and no one else is hitting the server at the same time. Any ideas?

happens to me too, running freenas

i think it either:
moves at lightning fast speed to the RAM on the NAS

or bug

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.
