1. Prevent static by grounding yourself.

2. Start assembling components on the motherboard box.

3. A strong magnet to hold random screws.

4. If the case has tempered glass panels, keep them in the box till the end of the build.

5. Zip ties will come in handy but velcro straps will be even handier.

These are a few, but just make a quick Google and you'll find plenty more. Good luck! I

I suggest you change the psu in the boson 4.0 for a cxm 450 grey sticker unit.

Make sure to quote me or tag me when responding to me, or I might not know you replied! Examples:

Do this:

And make sure you do it by hitting the quote button at the bottom left of my post, and not the one inside the editor!

@DocSwag

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Make sure you have all the needed tools before starting your build.  My first build took me like 4 days I think because I kept having to stop to go get something.  ?

Things like a #2 Phillips screwdriver and a 3/16 inch (pretty that's the size) nut driver are a must.  If you can get a magnetic screwdriver go for it.  You'll be happy to have it as it helps get screws if you drop any in your case and can be handy for getting screws into hard to reach holes.

A ratcheting #2 screwdriver with a 90 degree bent neck is also useful in case you need to work in a confined area of the case.  I've also found that when using mine it has made stubborn fan screws easier to turn without damaging them.

Arctic MX-4 is a very good thermal compound to use on the CPU heatsink.  It's totally nonconductive and if I remember correctly doesn't need time to "cure" I think is the term vs other thermal compounds.  Both Amazon and Newegg sell it do it's easy to get.

I've found that a headlamp and a flashlight with a magnetic end are very helpful for giving enough light inside the confines of your case when doing a build.  Having a light source on your head and on your case keep your hands free.

I also have a small multi-tool that I modtly use for cutting zip ties and a measuring tap that's labeled in meters and inches to make measuring things like how long a graphics card my case can fit and and how tall of a CPU cooler too.

The pictures are of some of the things I mentioned.
