so, i just hooked up my secondary screen, and when i have chrome open and any DX application, my pc turns completely off or my second screen goes black and my pc freezes.

Monitor 1  (main, alome working fine): benQ gw2270 VGA Gtx 745 OEM (DVI-I to VGA)

Monitor 2 (second, alone working fine, with the other crashing): acer al1916w 1440x900 VGA iGPU

iGPU: R7 graphics A8 7650k

Okay, check your temperatures when chrome and a DX application are running - it could be an overheating issue.....

 

Remove graphics drivers with DDU, and reinstall with the latest one off of AMDs website - see if this fixes the issue..

 

Check windows event viewer too, see what happened at the time of the shutdowns or black screens - maybe even post a screenshot of that here (Open event viewer by smashing eventvwr.msc into run)

Temps: igpu: 56ºC GPU: 76ºC

Driver version: latest on both

EventVwr: idk what to do with that
