Youtube dropping frames in fullscreen

I have been dealing with a weird issue for a while now.

I have an admittedly odd monitor set up, with 2 main pc monitors (that match each other) and a tv as a third screen.

The monitors of course are side by side on my desk, and a tv a few feet to the right (part of an entertainment center, i watch movies and play games from my pc on the couch)

the second monitor and TV are duplicated so the same content is on both screens.

 

this works completely fine for everything but Youtubes, which drops alot of frames (over 2/3 of the frames sometimes looking at YouTubes "stats for nerds" info) which causes videos to be laggy and skip alot

the skipping only happens in full screen on the tv/second monitor

videos play fine :

- on the 1st monitor (when not duplicated)

- on any screen (without duplication on at all)

- not in full screen 

- in full screen with something covering the video (like the task bar, another window, etc)

- on a different browser (like Edge) 

 

any ideas for a solution other than having something covering the video/not having videos in full screen/turning duplication off/changing browsers

It's weird that YouTube is the only program that does this, Netflix, hulu, crunchyroll, and all games are fine with this setup

I am also running into this same problem as well. I made a post about it on reddit. I hope we can solve this problem. I am trying to resist the urge to start using Firefox, but if I get no solution to this problem, I might end up switching... for I do not have this problem on Firefox (or any other browser) at all.
