So I posted a similar question like this about my PC. But the thing is, we just upgraded from 2mbps to 25mbps download speeds. So I assumed everything would be fine. However, lately, when the PS3 is on and running, our wifi slows from 25 to around .3. Which shouldn't be happening. There is only around 5 devices connected. So that shouldn't be a problem. Anyone have a solution?

what are you doing on your ps3?

I had a few games downloading. But I turned them off an hour ago. That only seemed to make things worse. A 10mb Twitch update was taking about a half hour. So there shouldn't have been anything running in the background.

get a network monitor tool to look up what is on your network and what data usage they have.

If you received a router from your ISP for free, it might be worth upgrading.

I know my neighbor had a really shitty router his ISP gave him for signing up, and the moment someone got online on a computer while he was playing multiplayer on his PS3, his speed would drop like a rock.

That might be true. The router we have is a TP-Link TL-WR841N. Which says it's for small to medium houses. It's the one our ISP gave us. We have a large house. Do you have a cheapish router you recommend? We can't afford any expensive one. Probably under $100 would work.
