Posted April 20, 2017 So I have been getting very mad at origins (EAs game launcher) and how it has been using system resources and such even after I close games and it and have to end task in task manager, is there a way with task scheduler to make it so when a game like titanfall 2 gets closed that windows will run a batch file force closing origins? I use steam to launch the game anyway so I only use origins to download the games Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/769027-auto-force-close-origins/ Share on other sites
 Posted April 21, 2017 Unfortunetly there is no way. Simply exit Origin after you exit the game. Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/769027-auto-force-close-origins/#findComment-9716000 Share on other sites
Posted April 22, 2017 Author I already have a batch file that will kill origins but need a way to detect when selected programs are closed and then run said batch file any ideas? I don't know much about how CMD works but is there then a way to make a batch file know when a program is closed? ie: start the batch file, that starts the game, looks for the game and when it no longer appears in the task view run a task kill command on origins?
