Did you make sure all the necessary CPU power connectors on the motherboard are plugged in? I missed one 4-pin connector on mine and it didn't do anything either.

If you need it, I can hop on Hangouts to help you troubleshoot. I have the manual open and I've been working the same chipset at work all last week.

EDIT!

Seeing in the manual that the solid light indicates either that the CPU is dead (not very likely) or having issues getting enough power (more likely). Check the motherboard power connector and the 8 pin connector in the upper right corner of the motherboard, close to the IO. It also might have an error from ram in the wrong slots; you'll want your two sticks in slots A2 and B2, not A1 and B1.
