Looking for Testers for an App

Hi there, I'm one of the Windows Developers on a community project called Linus Forum Tips. It's an unofficial application for viewing LMG videos and aims to provide forum posting functionality in the future.

 

This project is in no way sponsored, endorsed or paid for by anyone including LMG.

This has been approved by Linus Media Group Staff.

 

We are looking for volunteers to test an app we're developing which is being built by fellow LTT members and is aimed to help LTT members and viewers. This project is entirely non paid and is not for profit. We're simply looking for more testers to help test software features of the app/program.

 

If you choose to volunteer, we'd like you to:
* Give feedback on any changes being made or being considered if asked by a Developer working on the project
* Report any bugs you discover to the developers in the format they ask for
* Test the application to determine if there are any bugs
* Optionally, you can give your opinion on parts of the application

 

Platforms we're looking for testing on:
* Xbox One or Windows 10
* Traditional Desktop Operating systems including Windows, Mac or Linux

 

System Requirements for testing our Windows 10 App
* Windows 10 Build 10586 or newer (Build 14393 or 15063 is preffered)
* 2GB RAM or more (4GB RAM is recommended)
* 1GHz Dual core ARM or x86-64 based CPU or better (2GHz Quad Core ARM based CPU or 2GHz Dual Core x86-64 based CPU is preffered)
* 8" to 50" Displays at 800x600 resolution or better
* Integrated Graphics or better (Graphics Processors with 1GB VRAM or more is recommended)
* 20MB of Free Storage or more (50MB of Free Storage or more is recommended for Caching reasons)

 

System Requirements for testing our Desktop App
* For Windows: Windows 7 SP1 or newer
* For Mac: OS X 10.11 or newer
* For Linux: Ubuntu 12.10 based distributions or newer
* 2GB RAM or more (4GB RAM is recommended)
* 1GHz Dual core x86 or  x86-64 based CPU or better (2GHz Dual Core x86-64 based CPU is preffered)
* 10" to 40" Displays at 1280x720 resolution or better
* Integrated Graphics or better
* 70MB of Free Storage or more (100-150MB of Free Storage or more is recommended for Caching reasons)
