So i've just benchmarked my rig twice on Firestrike, not the ultra or extreme versions. I have a GTX 1050ti 4GB, i7 6700k @4.00GHZ and 8GB DDR4 RAM running at 2133Mhz, I will link the result as i think its awful and something is definitely wrong and i need help to fix it.

It's just been updated today to the latest on Geforce Experience

maybe the new driver is shitty? Nvidia is well known for not knowing how to make video drivers that work correctly.

maybe use DDU then install the last driver (not the newest the one before) and see? but honestly idk what score your rig or others with the same rig get so idk if its normal or not

Your Physics test has a really low score thus it is CPU related that's all I can give you at the moment.

Your score is a bit low but not out of the question low. Also is this only seen in 3Dmark or can you replicated it in other programs?

You would think Ubisoft would support the Bulldozer based architectures more given their digging themed names like bulldozer, Piledriver, Steamroller and Excavator.

Your score is a bit low but not out of the question low. If you up the MHz on your GPU you would get what other people get as the best score run at 2Ghz and you at 1.75Ghz

GPU seems perfect, is there anything in the bios i could change that could be holding my CPU back, as i said i got the same score with a 4460

Cinebench for example.

Other people get 10,000-11,000 in physics non OC, with a 6700k, I need more people in this topic who may have suggestions, i have scored better with a 4460

maybe you're just unlucky and you get the cpu made with the shittyest piece of silicon.

not all computers will perform the same and thats just becase of manufacturer defect. electronics are not a 100% successful replica per part. they all have their flaws and you could just got the worst of the lot.

ive gotten a i5 4690k that would not OC at all, any upping voltage or multiplier caused a crash

Ill download that now and give it a bash

Nevermind that, I see the issue now. You've got hyperthreading disabled. Enable that in your BIOS and see if the issue is fixed. 0d70ffb522945480647f76e330280a57.png

It happened to my 4460 as well though mate. feels like something in my settings is wrong.

What's it called in the BIOS?

Should either be called Hyperthreading or Intel HT Technology under Advanced tweaking or OC. It varies with motherboard manufacturers.

Just checked and it says it is ENABLED? is there a way it could be disabled through windows

Mhh weird. Not that I know of atleast. The 3Dmark application says you've got 1 CPU with 4 cores so either you've got hyperthreading disabled (4 Cores + 0 Hypertreaded cores) or you have disabled 2 cores (2Cores + 2 Hyperthreaded cores )

How do i check if i have disabled cores? that could be possible btw

In windows 10 if you go to your taskmanager->CPU there should be a small box with information.

Their it should say how many cores and logical cores you have what does that say?

Also when i run Unpark CPU cores, it only shows 2 cores, it done that on my 4460 as well.

it says 2 cores

That means you've got 2 cores disabled. If you go into the BIOS it should be pretty straight forward. I can't say exactly how but it should be in their somewhere.

Is the 3Dmark score fine now?
