It says your build has incompatibility issues. Would that be a problem?

Yeah it fixes the problem.

ok great. Is there anything I can do without completely changing my list to get a cheaper but still aesthetically pleasing and same or greater performance with this list? https://au.pcpartpicker.com/user/Dioxyq/saved/8Z9Q7P

A lot of people are providing completely new lists, which is fine as it does help me, but can I keep the same fundamentals in my build and cut down in cost?

see if you can ask the seller if the motherboard's bios supports kabylake, or find a store that can update the bios for you.

Why z270 for 7700 get h270 or b250 or get 7700k and z270 not worth upgrading from 7700 to 7700 k as the diff is less when compared to price.

get a cheaper b250 mobo, ram, case, PSU and ssd. the NEX performs badly though, get something else.

Actually, with the saved budget I can go with the i7-7700K 4.2 ghz. What cooler should I get?

you will need a z170(with kabylake supported bios) or a z270 mobo to have any chance of overclocking the cpu. cryorig m9i performs the same as the 212 evo for alot less, i'd get that.

Any suggestions for the mobo? I'm not too good with them

https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/N4nG3C/asrock-motherboard-z170mpro4s if you want cheap(but you'll need to check with the website about kabylake support)

https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/WxkwrH/asrock-z270-pro4-atx-lga1151-motherboard-z270-pro4 works right out of the box with kabylake.

Done! And to recap: I've got an SSD and an i7 7700K over my previous i5 and sacrificed pretty much no aesthetics or performance, while still being $50 under budget. Thanks so much! I really appreciate your help.

It is a beast.

You should use au pcpartpicker not us partpicker and also your build is having RX 480 whereas other build are having GTX 1070 so try to atleast add R9 Fury.
