I finally got my set budget for my pc build. Coming from console, my budget is $500 to $550. I play most first person shooter. Just want a system that can run games with smooth 60FPs even if I have to turn settings down I don't mind. My console games run at 720p resolution even though I have a 1080p monitor. The system has to run new games like  infinite warfare, gta 5, black ops 3, modern warfare remastered, and games along those lines. Any helpers who can guide me in the right direction

But the PSU is so so.

yeah it's not the best psu but this is supposed to be a budget build and you cant spend much more on the power supply without being over-budger.btw its still a well reviewed psu from a reputable brand

Well reviewed by whom?

And because it's a reputable brand doesn't mean it's good

I can buy a crap psu and then say it's a good one would people believe me? Well yeah, at least you did based on member reviews. You have to look at professional reviews from people like johnny guru for example. And in $550 it's possible to have a decent build that I linked above with good PSU and better gpu.

Even in budget builds that are daily drivers, you want a good/decent PSU. The Tier list is often mentioned, and for daily drivers you want to stay Tier 3 or above.

Good budget PSU's such as Seasonic M12ii or Seasonic S12ii are Tier 3 PSU's that are often recommended for budget builds.

PSU is something you shouldn't cheap out on, since if it fails due to bad parts, it can take the system with it.

Current System Specs:
